Post by: chittimotu on December 22, 2018, 04:27:03 am
After few months gap (vacation) ,i resumed my project. Now i am trying to integrate WPS office like Bob.Omb's Modified Win10PEx64 v4.5.

I can successfully run officv through following commands

Y:\Programs\Office\ksolaunch.exe et.exe
Y:\Programs\Office\ksolaunch.exe wpp.exe
Y:\Programs\Office\ksolaunch.exe wps.exe

But unable to integrate with start menu and shortcuts.the problem is unable to create a new office files from context menu, and unable to set wps office as default program for word, excell and ppt.
do i need reg keys? or plugins? I am not sure!! Please help.

Thank you!

That was probably one of the most difficult additions.  There are hundreds of custom keys specific to this build that allow proper functionality.

The answer is registry keys.  I think a few thousand in total, that go along with the ksolaunch.exe you are trying to use.  You would be better off trying to make your own plugin from scratch.  Not that I don't want you to use ksolaunch, its that it is harder than making another from scratch because it was designed for a specific build with specific paths in place..
